In furtherance of order dated 14.02.2023, parties tried and succeeded in full and final settlement of the dispute which led to the present writ action. The petitioner had assailed rejection of his claim under the Workmens' Compensation Act on the ground of limitation bar. Today, petitioner has appeared in person and I have spoken with him. 2.

It is submitted by both sides that parties have settled the dispute pertaining to this petition and thereby the respondent no. 2(a) and 2(b), the contesting respondents have paid today to the petitioner a sum of Rs. 6,00,000/- by way of demand draft dated 19.09.2024bearing No. 009039. 3.

Under these circumstances, as requested by both sides, this petition is disposed of as compromised.
