% 05.12.2018 The petitioner, who is working as contractual employee in Lajpat Nagar Colony Hospital under the jurisdiction of SDMC has filed this writ petition and prayed for the following reliefs: "a) A writ of mandamus commanding the respondents No.1 to 3 to install CCTV cameras and depute security guards in all Govt. Hospitals under their jurisdiction;

b) A writ of mandamus commanding the respondents No.3 to take steps towards providing fool-proof security to women staff working in Govt. Hospitals, Dispensaries and other health institutions, organizations, Mohalla Clinics etc. c) Pass an order directing Respondents No.1 to 4 to provide exclusive changing rooms for staff nurses/other women staff, so

that their right to self respect and privacy can be protected at work place.

d) Pass an order directing Respondents No.1 to 3 to stop representatives of pharmaceutical companies entered into Govt. Hospitals, dispensaries, Mohalla Clinics and other health institutions and corrupt the doctors with allurements and gifts. e) Pass an order against the respondents to direct the Respondent No.3 & 4 reinstate the Petitioner as the Petitioner was thrown out of her contractual job for raising concerns of security in her Writ Petiton filed earlier before this Hon‟ble Court.

f) Pass an order against the respondents to direct the Respondent No.5 to provide security through local police in NCT of Delhi wherever hospitals, dispensaries, Mohalla Clinics and other health organizations are functional. g) A writ of mandamus commanding the Respondents to pay the cost of the Petition to the Petitoner; and h) Grant such other relief/s which this Hon‟ble Court may deem fit and proper under the facts and circumstances of this case and in the interest of justice, equity and fair trial." A perusal thereto clearly shows that the grievance of the petitioner is with regard to non-installation of CCTV cameras in the hospital and foolproof security for the women staff working in the hospital. Status report has been filed by the respondent No.

2/SDMC and the same indicates that CCTV cameras have been installed in the Lajpat Nagar Colony Hospital, covering various areas and other safety measures for providing security to the women staff working in the said Hospital has been carried out.

However, in case the petitioner has any grievance with regard to providing any further security arrangements she may take it up with the respondents and thereafter may take recourse to such procedure as may be contemplated in accordance with law. Even though the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of NCT of Delhi has filed status reports to say that various steps and measures have been taken to protect and safeguard the interests and safety of women staff working in the Government Hospitals, we are satisfied that the necessary measures have been taken in the hospital where the petitioner was working as contractual employee, no further indulgence is called for.
