% 22.03.2017 By these petitions, it has been prayed that two cross FIRs, details whereof are as under, may be quashed a) FIR No. 62/2013 under Sections 354/506/34 IPC registered at Police Station Civil Lines on the complaint of Smt. Asha By:AMULYA

Sharma and b) FIR No. 61/2013 under Sections 354/509/34 IPC registered at Police Station Civil Lines on the complaint of Smt. Shardha Chaudhary.

In both the petitions, petitioners are accused; whereas respondent no.2 are complainants. It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no. 2 are neighbours. A quarrel took place between them on some trivial matter which had led to registration of above-noted FIRs. It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably before the Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Courts on 14th1 January, 2016, therefore, both the FIRs may be quashed. Respondent no.2 in both the petitions, i.e., Smt. Asha Sharma and Smt. Shardha Choudhary are present in Court and have been identified I by SI Bharat of police station Civil Lines. Both the respondent no.2 admit having settled the matter with the petitioners of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. They have no objection in quashing of the FIRs.

Keeping in mind that petitioners and respondent no.2 are neighbours and they have settled their disputes amicably before the Mediation Centre, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 62/2013 under

r Sections 354/506/34 IPC and FIR No. 61/2013 under Sections 354/509/34 IPC both registered at Police Station Civil Lines and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Both the petitions are disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as infructuous. A.K. ItIAK, J.
