O R D E R
% 12.07.2018 The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners were to be supplied telephone numbers of two police officials of the jurisdiction in which the petitioners reside. He submits that additionally a telephone number of a lady police officer be supplied to them. He further submits that the petitioners have received a threat from the siblings of petitioner No.1 of dire consequences to both the petitioners, which could result in fatality. Let telephone numbers of three police officials be provided to the petitioners. All the three numbers shall be kept operational at all times so that the petitioners could contact the police in case of any exigency. The learned counsel for the State assures the Court that any information received from the petitioners, either through a telephone call or SMS, would be immediately responded to. Additionally, the Beat Constable
of the area shall ascertain from the petitioners on a daily basis for the next one month about their safety and security. The Station House Officer and the Division Officer shall interact with the petitioners by tomorrow evening and assess the threat perception and accord due protection, as they deem fit. No further orders are required.
The petition stands disposed-off in the above terms. A copy of this order be given dasti to the learned counsel for the parties under the signature of the Court Master. NAJMI WAZIRI, J.
