Amended memo of parties pursuant to order dated 4th May, 2016 has been filed. Since the petitioner is a juvenile his identity was not required to be disclosed. Registry is also required to show the cause title as per the amended memo of parties.

Status report has been handed over by the learned Additional Standing Counsel which is taken on record.

By the present petition the petitioner through his mother, the guardian sought quashing of FIR No.239/2016 under Sections 376/506 IPC registered at PS Vasant Kunj, North.

On a notice being issued a status report was filed by the State giving the allegations in the FIR and stating that after investigation a cancellation W.P.(CRL) 1381/2016
report has been filed before the learned Juvenile Justice Board-II, Delhi Gate on 23rd September, 2016.

On the cancellation report, pursuant to the notice, the prosecutrix appeared along with her counsel and vide order dated 10th March, 2017 the learned Juvenile Justice Board-II accepted the cancellation report filed by the State in the above noted FIR and directed registration of FIR against the prosecutrix for offences punishable under Sections 182/211 IPC at PS Vasant Kunj North and also directed the investigating agency to look into the role of the placement agency.

Considering the fact that the cancellation report has already been accepted by the learned Juvenile Justice Board qua the petitioner in FIR No.239/2016, nothing further survives in the present petition. 7.
The petition is thus disposed of warranting no further orders from this Court.

It is hoped and expected that the learned Juvenile Justice Board will proceed in the matter in accordance with law. MUKTA GUPTA, J.
