Allowed, subject to all just exceptions.

O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 86/2018 2.

The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereafter 'the Act'), inter alia, praying that the time for making the award be extended for a further period of six months from today. It is stated that the arbitral proceedings are at the stage of examination of the claimant's witnesses and it is likely to take time to conclude the arbitral proceedings. Both the parties state that the delay is not caused due to the Arbitral Tribunal not devoting adequate time but on account of certain reorganization of the respondent. 3.

In view of the above, the time for making the award is extended by a

further period of one year from 15.02.2018 till 14.02.2019. 4.

The petition is disposed of.
