O R D E R

% 22.03.2017 It is submitted that petitioner and responded no.2 have settled their disputes amicably vide Memorandum of Settlement/Understanding dated 3rd March, 2017, therefore, FIR No. 716/2015 under Sections 354D/506 IPC registered at police station Deshbandhu Gupta Road on the complaint of respondent no.2, may be quashed.

Respondent no.2 is present in Court with her counsel and has been identified by SI Giriraj of police station Deshbandhu Gupta Road. She submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She further submits that she

is not willing to pursue the FIR any further in view of the settlement and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in mind that petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably, inasmuch as, respondent no.2 has no objection in quashing of the FIR, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 716/2015 under Sections 354D/506 registered at police station Deshbandhu Gupta Road and the consequent proceedings emanating thereform are quashed, subject to cost of `20,000/- to be deposited with the Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee within four week.

Receipt of cost be handed over to the Investigating Officer.

Writ petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
