This is a defamation suit valued at less than Rs.2 crores. Ld. counsel for plaintiff submits that case of action arose in Delhi where the article was published and hence requests the matter to be transferred to New Delhi District.

Ld. counsel for defendant reports no objection, however, reserves his right to question the jurisdiction of Delhi courts. In view of the orders passed by Hon'ble Chief Justice, Delhi High Court vide notification no. 27187/DHC/Orgl. dated 24.11.2015, the present case stands transferred to District Court (New Delhi), Patiala House, New Delhi.

Parties are directed to appear before the Court of Ld. District Judge (New Delhi), Patiala House, New Delhi on 21.07.2016. CS(OS) 2475/2012 1/2
