O R D E R

% 22.03.2017 It is submitted that petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably, therefore, FIR No. 869/2014 under Sections 406/498-A/34 IPC registered against the petitioners at police station Farsh Bazar on the complaint of respondent no.2, may be quashed. Petitioner nos. 2 to 4 are relatives of petitioner no.1.

Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Amit Kumar of police station Farsh Bazar. She submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioners voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion.

She further submits that her marriage with the petitioner no.1 has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual

consent on 8th February, by the Family Courts, Shahdara, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi.

She also admits having received the entire settled amount. She has no objection in case the FIR is quashed. Keeping in mind that petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes, inasmuch as, respondent no.2 has no objection in quashing of the FIR, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 869/2014 under Sections 406/498A/34 IPC registered at police station Farsh Bazar and the consequent proceedings emanating thereform are quashed.

Writ petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
