2 The petitioner seeks issuance of a fresh passpiort.with correction with regard to his date of birth and name. It is.-averred in the petition. that the petitioner was issued a passport bearing no.G1544514 on 27.2.2007. It is r further submitted that in the passport, the petitioner's., date of birth was shown as 6.10.2001 instead of 6.10.2004 and his name stood incorporated as Mohammad Abuzar instead of Abuzar.

It is in this background, that the petitioner appears to have applied for a fresh passport on 22.2.2018.

%/ the petitioner, 5 Given these circumstances, the respondent is directed to complete its inquiry and reach a conclusion in the matter with due expedition. Let the needful be done, in the matter, within two weeks from today. The conclusion reached by the respondent will be conveyed to the petitioner. 6.

The petitioner will be at liberty to assail the conclusion arrived at by the respondent, if it is adverse to his interest. 7.

The captioned writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid terms. 8.
