O R D E R

% 31.05.2018 Status report has been submitted on behalf of the State. The affidavit of address has been filed by the petitioner qua his present address. As per the status report that has been submitted by the State, the applicant was residing at H.No. RZ 18-E/2, Gali No.2, Main Sagarpur, New Delhi with the deceased residing approximately one house away at H.No. RZ 18-E/2, Gali No.2, Main Sagarpur, New Delhi. On behalf of the applicant it has been submitted that the allegations levelled against the applicant in the FIR and in the police report under Section 173 Cr.PC, 1973 relate to co-accused, the brother of the applicant in relation to the demise of the deceased Reena for alleged harassment for dowry demands. The allegations levelled against the applicant inter alia relate to the demand for a motor cycle along with his brother, the co-accused Chhote Lal and

further allegations of harassment in the charge-sheet also relate to Chhote Lal with allegations inter alia against the applicant to the effect that he along with his brother had prevented the deceased to go to her parental home on the occasion of Rakhi, apparently the first Rakhi after the marriage between the deceased and the co-accused Chhote Lal on 06.07.2017 with the date of demise in the instant case stated to be 08.03.2017.

On a consideration of the totality of the circumstances put forth with the basic allegations levelled against the co-accused Chhote Lal, without any observations on the merits or demerits of the case, the applicant is allowed to be released on bail on his furnishing a bail bond of Rs.1 lakh with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned trial Court with directions that he shall join the investigation, shall not leave the country without permission of the learned trial Court and shall not intimidate the witnesses.
