(ORAL) 1.
Petitioner is aggrieved by his non-promotion to the higher grade because the result of petitioner's selection has been kept in a sealed cover without any disciplinary proceedings being initiated against him. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner's request for promotion made on 25th May, 2017 (Annexure P-12) has not been considered.

In the facts and circumstances of the present case, it is deemed appropriate to dispose of this petition and the application while permitting petitioner to make a fresh concise Representation to second respondent within a period of two weeks. If such a Representation is received by second respondent, then it be considered by way of a speaking order within a period of six weeks and the fate of the Representation be made W.P.(C) 5390/2018
known to petitioner within a week thereafter, so that petitioner may avail of the remedy as available in law, if need be. 4.
With the aforesaid directions, this petition and the application are accordingly disposed of.
