% 11.08.2016 Learned standing counsel for SDMC on instructions of Mr.Babu Lal, School Inspector states that the respondent/SDMC is awaiting reimbursement of funds from the State Government. He has handed over a copy of letter dated 1st August, 2016 written by the Additional Director (Education), South Delhi Municipal Corporation to the Joint Director (Planning), Govt. of NCT of Delhi. The relevant portion of the said letter is reproduced hereinbelow:- " Subject:- Information of students admitted Economically Weaker Section of in Ramjas Primary School, Darya Ganj, Central Zone for the year 2011-12, 2012-13, 2013-14 & 2014-15 Please find enclosed herewith the list regarding reimbursement of fee against the admission given to children belonging to the Economically Weaker Section of Ramjas Primary School, Darya Ganj, Central Zone for the year 2011-12, 2012-13, 2013-14 & 2014-15.

It is therefore requested to kindly examine the claim and the amount be transferred to Education Department/South Delhi

Municipal Corporation for onward distribution of the same to the school.

This issue is with prior approval of competent authority." In view of the aforesaid statement and communication, present contempt petition is closed and the petitioners are given liberty to file appropriate proceedings against GNCTD in accordance with law in case the payment is not made by it, in a reasonable period of time.
