W.P.(C) 2738/2017 & C.M. No.11910/2017 Petitioner is aggrieved by the illegal and unauthorized construction which has been permitted at property bearing No.M-32 (Khasra No.666), Abul Fazal Enclave-I, Okhla, New Delhi. It is stated that this is against the bye-laws of the Corporation. On advance notice counsel for respondent no.1/SDMC has put in appearance. She submits (under instructions) that the property

which had already been booked on 27.01.2017 has been sought to be taken to its ultimate goal; a work stop notice had been issued followed by a vacation notice. Letters had also been issued to the statutory bodies to discontinue the essential supply qua the property i.e. Water Department as also to the Electricity Department. It is stated that demolition programme has now been fixed for 17.4.2017. Learned counsel appearing for respondent no.1 undertakes and ensures this Court that this action shall be completed on that date and necessary assistance of the police shall also be obtained as and when required. Needless to state that this action shall be after due notice to the private respondents (respondent nos.4 and 5). No further orders are called for in this petition. Petition disposed of.
