% 30.05.2018 Mr. Mehra has tendered the status report in Court which is taken on record. The missing daughter of the petitioner - Mohita has been located from Jammu.

We have interacted with Mohita as well as with her parents in Chamber. Mohita has complained that when her parents learnt of her liking for Monu, she was subjected to a lot of physical violence. It is this treatment meted out to her which compelled her to run away from home. The petitioner and her husband have been counselled by us. They have given an assurance and undertaking to the Court to not scold or coerce Mohita on account of her meeting Monu. They have also given an assurance to the

Court that they shall allow Mohita to follow the course of study that she wishes to pursue. They have assured that they shall meet the expenses for her living and education.

On these assurances and subject to our making further arrangement for ensuring its implementation, Mohita will to return to the petitioner and her father to her home.

To ensure compliance of the aforesaid assurance and undertaking given by the parents of Mohita, we direct the SHO, Police Station - Bharat Nagar to ensure that his mobile phone number is provided to Mohita. Mohita shall be provided with mobile phone so that she may contact her family members and her friends. In case, any distress call is received from Mohita, the same shall be attended by Police Station - Bharat Nagar on priority. One lady constable in plain clothes shall visit Mohita initially everyday in the first month to ensure about her well-being and in case Mohita is satisfied, the visits may be undertaken after every three days. The petitioner and her husband have assured that Mohita shall not be compelled to marry any person against her will. They are bound by the said undertaking. Mohita may return with her parents from the Court itself. The petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms. Copy of this order be given dasti under the signatures of the Court Master.
