By filing the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking parole on the ground of taking care of his wife and infant child as well as for maintaining social ties.

As per the nominal roll available on record, petitioner has already been granted furlough from 12th May, 2016 to 27th May, 2016 by the Director General of Prisons of Delhi.
