CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE PRADEEP NANDRAJOG

O R D E R

% 15.09.2016 1.

Learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions from the petitioner who is present in person seeks leave to withdraw the instant petition because six witnesses have been examined. Learned counsel makes a request for a direction to be issued to the learned Metropolitan Magistrate to expeditiously complete the trial for the reason the FIR in question pertains to the year 1992.

The FIR relates to the death of one Mohd.Malik; date of death being July 13, 1992; cause of death is electrocution. 2.

Dismissing the petition as withdrawn I direct the learned Metropolitan Magistrate to complete recording of evidence in FIR No.259/1992 PS Samaipur Badli by the end of March 31, 2017.
