Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no. 1.

Respondent no.2 Mr. Sher Singh is present in Court and accepts notice. He has been identified by SI Satish of police station Sarita Vihar. It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no. 2 are related to each other. A quarrel took place between them on some trivial issues, which led to registration of FIR no.307/2017 under Section 307 IPC at police station Sarita Vihar on the complaint of respondent no. 2. It is further submitted that petitioner and respondent no. 2 have now settled their disputes amicably; therefore, aforesaid FIR and consequent proceedings emanating

therefrom may be quashed.

Respondent no. 2 admits having settled the matter with petitioner of his own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and he has no objection in case aforesaid FIR and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed against the petitioner.

Keeping in view the fact that trial is at the initial stage and petitioner and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed, subject to petitioner depositing ₹10,000/- with the Delhi High Court Bar Association Lawyers' Social Security & Welfare Fund, New Delhi within two weeks.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
