The present petition has been filed by the petitioner, who is recruited in the CRPF, praying inter alia for directions to the respondents to extend him the benefits of the 5th & 6th CPC Recommendations. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that before filing the present petition, the petitioner had submitted two representations to the respondents ventilating his grievance, the first one dated 16.7.2014 (Annexure-P-2) and the other dated 18.12.2014 (Annexure P-3). Having failed to receive any response from the respondents, the petitioner has been compelled to file the present petition.

Learned counsel for the respondents, who appears on advance notice, states, on instructions, that the respondents shall duly consider and decide the petitioner's representations dated 16.7.2014 and 18.12.2014, if given a WP(C) 3909/2016 Page 1 of 2

reasonable time.

Counsel for the petitioner is agreeable to the said suggestion. 5.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with directions issued to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 16.7.2014 and 18.12.2014 within a period of eight weeks, under written intimation to him.

If the petitioner is aggrieved by the decision that may be taken by the respondents, he shall be entitled to seek his remedies, if so advised, in accordance with law.
