O R D E R

% 21.12.2016 On the complaint of respondent no.2, FIR 502/14 under Sections 427/323/308/341/506/34 was registered against the petitioners at police station Chhawla on 25th August, 2014. During the investigation, Sections 354/356/379 IPC have been added. Petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 5 are known to each other being residents of the same locality. A quarrel took place between them which resulted in registration of the aforesaid FIR. With the intervention of their common friends and other family member, petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 5 have settled their disputes amicably.

Respondent nos. 2 to 5 are present in Court and have been

identified by SI Shambhu Sah of police station Chhawla. These respondents submit that they have settled the matter with the petitioners of their own free will and without any undue pressure, force or coercion. They further submit that they are not willing to pursue the FIR any further in view of the settlement arrived at between them and petitioners, therefore, FIR may be quashed.

Keeping in view that petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 5 are known to each other and a quarrel took place between them on some trivial matter which they have now settled, in the interest of justice, FIR 502/14 under Sections 427/323/308/341/506/354/356/379/34 IPC registered at police station Chhawla, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed. Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. A.K. PATHAK, J.
