% 21.12.2016 By this petition, petitioners have prayed for quashing of FIR 974/15 under Sections 467/468/471/120-B/34 IPC registered at police station Dwarka North, on the complaint of respondent no.2. Petitioners and respondent no.2 are known to each other being residents of the same locality.

It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably.

Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Saveen Kharb of police station Dwarka South. Respondent no.2 admits having settled the matter with the petitioners of her own free will and without any undue pressure, force or coercion. She further submits

that in view of the settlement arrived at between her and petitioners, she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed. Keeping in mind that petitioners and respondent no.2 are known to each other and they have settled their disputes with the intervention of their common friends and that respondent no.2 is not willing to pursue the FIR any further, in the interest of justice, FIR 974/15 under Sections 467/468/471/120-B/34 IPC registered at police station Dwarka North and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
