By this petition, the petitioner seeks extension of interim bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 26th April, 2018 for a period of three weeks to undergo surgery for gallbladder stone. According to the petitioner, the petitioner has undergone the surgery on 3rd May, 2018 and was discharged from the hospital on 4th May, 2018. A status report has been field. The medical documents placed on record have been verified. The petitioner has been advised post-operative rest. Learned counsel for the petitioner further states that the petitioner is also required to take reimbursement of her medical bills etc. and there is no other person in the family to look after the petitioner.

Considering the fact that the surgery has been performed on 3rd May, 2018 and thus the petitioner needs some time to recover, this Court deems it BAIL APPLN. 1135/2018

fit to extend the interim bail granted to the petitioner. It is, therefore, directed that the interim bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 26th April, 2018 in Bail App.No.824/2018 is extended for a further period of 2 weeks on her furnishing a personal bond on the same terms as imposed vide order dated 26th April, 2018.
