The petitioner seeks correction of date of birth in her passport. 2.

It appears that the passport issued to the petitioner showed her date of birth as 5.8.1995, whereas, according to the CBSE Class X Certificate, her date of birth is 5.8.1996.

The petitioner has enclosed other documents as well to establish that her date of birth is 5.8.1996. 4.

Issue notice. Mr. Bhardwaj accepts notice on behalf of respondents.

Learned counsel says that the respondents will examine the issue and pass a speaking order based on documents appended to the writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondents to treat the present writ petition as a representation and pass a speaking order in the matter.

The respondents will grant personal hearing to the petitioner and allow her to place before the concerned authority originals of documents filed with the writ petition.

In case, the petitioner is aggrieved by the final determination made by the concerned authority, she will have liberty to assail the same in the manner known to law.

Needless to say, this exercise will be concluded at the earliest, though, not later than ten (10) weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
