O R D E R

% 16.11.2017 Respondent no.2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by ASI Khushboo Ram, of police station Khayala. She submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner no.1 before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Court on 4th December, 2014 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She further submits that her marriage with the petitioner no.1 has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent passed by the Family Court, West, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi on 21st November, 2015. She says that she is not willing to pursue the FIR against the petitioner no.1 and his relatives, that is, petitioner nos. 2 to 5 and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in mind that marriage between the petitioner and respondent no. 2 has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce and respondent no.2 is not willing to pursue the FIR, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 661/2014 under Sections 406/498A/34 IPC registered at police station Khyala and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as infructuous.
