% 14.03.2018 The present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging non-compliance of order dated July 26, 2013, whereby this court has directed to make the payment of the benefits under the Sixth Pay Commission with interest @ 6% per annum from the date the amount became due till the time the amount is paid within four months from that date. There is no dispute that the benefits of Sixth Pay Commission have been paid except the interest component as directed by this court. Mr. Jasmeet Singh, learned counsel for the respondents on instructions states, the interest amount granted by this court vide order dated July 26, 2013 shall be paid within four months. He states, in the eventuality the interest is not paid within four months, the interest @ 12% shall be paid. The statement of Mr. Jasmeet Sngh is taken on record. In the eventuality, the respondents violate this order, liberty is with the petitioner to revive this
contempt petition.
It is also made clear that if the petitioner has any grievance with respect to the computation of amount of benefits under the Sixth Pay Commission, liberty is with the petitioner to seek such remedy as available in law.
