% 07.12.2017 After some hearing learned counsel for the petitioner states that they would make a representation to the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board pointing out the alleged drawbacks in the present policy. We clarify that it will be open to the petitioner to make the said representation and for the Board to examine the perceived drawbacks in the present policy and if deemed appropriate, to amend or modify the regulations. We further clarify that we have not expressed any opinion on any of the aspects whatsoever and neither any direction has been issued by this Court to the Board to amend or modify the present policy/regulation. In view of the aforesaid order, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks

leave to withdraw the present writ petition.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
