% 04.05.2017 Present contempt petition has been filed challenging the order dated 7th March, 2017 passed in W.P.(C) 3845/2005 whereby respondent no. 2SHO, Police Station Malviya Nagar was directed to ensure that no taxi is parked in the parking area of the market or the street in Navjeevan Vihar. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that respondent no. 3 who operates a travel agency has appropriated a large area for parking of his private vehicles in the market. In support of his contention, he draws this

Court's attention to the status report dated 7th August, 2016 filed by the SHO, Police Station Malviya Nagar.

Learned counsel for respondent no. 3 disputes the said status report and states that only three out of nine vehicles that were found parked around the market belong to his client.

Learned counsel for respondent no. 3 states that respondent no. 3 shall not park more than three private vehicles in and around Navjeevan Vihar Market, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi.

The statement given by learned counsel for respondent no. 3 is accepted by this Court and respondent no. 3 is held bound by the same. The SHO, Police Station Malviya Nagar is further directed to ensure that cars found involved in idle parking and not belonging to either shopkeepers or residents of the colony or guests of the residents are removed and seized in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid directions, present contempt petition stands disposed of.
