% 29.05.2017 The petitioner claims a direction to the respondents to implement the Land Pooling Policy. Notice has been issued and the matter was pending; the respondents i.e. Government of NCT of Delhi through Directorate of local bodies, had filed the counter affidavit.

It is stated today by the learned Standing Counsel for GNCTD that the Lieutenant Governor has accepted the Land Pooling Policy and a notification was issued on 16th May, 2017. In the circumstances, the petition has been rendered infructuous, it is therefore, dismissed.
