O R D E R

% 01.12.2016 The petitioners have preferred the present writ petition to seek the quashing of FIR No. 203/2013 under Sections 420/468/471 IPC and under Section 3 of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, registered in police station Nihal Vihar, District West, Delhi, on 18.06.2013 against the petitioners and other co-accused. In all, there were seven accused persons of the aforesaid offence. In relation to two of them, another quashing petition was preferred being Writ Petition (Crl.) No. 1073/2013 which was allowed by this Court on 11.03.2016. Learned counsel informs that there are three other co-accused, namely, Ram Swarup, Santosh Kumar and Ram Baran, who have not been impleaded as

parties. Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 are present with their counsel. They are identified by their counsel. The settlement agreement duly signed by respondent Nos. 2 and 3 as also the petitioners is placed on record. The settlement is arrived at before the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre. Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 state that they have entered into the said settlement without any pressure or coercion and they verify the position. Even though, three other co-accused have not approached this Court to seek the quashing of the FIR qua them, respondent Nos. 2 and 3 state that they are satisfied with the settlement and they do not wish to pursue their complainant against any of the accused. Accordingly, no useful purpose would be served in proceeding further with the FIR in question and the proceedings emanating therefrom. The same are hereby quashed VIPIN SANGHI, J DECEMBER 01, 2016 sl
