By this petition the petitioners had sought a writ of mandamus to the respondent to conduct proper and credible investigation in FIR No. 521/2017 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at PS Punjabi Bagh, Delhi lodged on the complaint of the wife of the petitioner No.1. 2.

The main ground urged in the petition was that the CCTV footage and the transcript of the telephone conversation recorded have not been taken on record during the course of investigation which would prove the innocence of the petitioners.

A status report has been filed. As per the status report the CCTV footage and transcript of the telephone conversation recorded has been seized and investigation thereon has proceeded. W.P.(CRL) 1540/2018

Faced with this situation learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the petition.

Leave granted.

Petition is dismissed as withdraw.
