Learned senior counsel for the petitioner submits that this case is squarely covered by the judgment of this Court in the batch of LPAs with the lead case titled Shashi Kiran vs. UOI, LPA No.410/2014 decided by the Division Bench on 24th August, 2016 and this writ petition be allowed in terms thereof.

Learned counsel for the respondents submit that respondent no.3 shall pass an appropriate order in terms of the judgment of the Division Bench within a period of six weeks from today.

The writ petition and the application are disposed of in terms of the judgment of the Division Bench in Shashi Kiran vs. UOI (Supra).

Respondent no.3, Delhi University shall pass an appropriate order in respect of the petitioners within a period of six weeks from today and shall send the copy of its decision to the petitioners within one week of the decision. 4.

Copy of this order be given dasti to counsel for the parties under the signature of the Court Master.
