% 17.05.2018 Notice.
Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no.1.
Respondent no.2 is present in Court along with her counsel, who accepts notice. She has been identified by SI Mintu Singh of police station Geeta Colony.
Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner no.1 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and in pursuance thereof she has started living with him. She further submits that she has no grievance against the petitioner no.1 and his family members, that is, petitioner nos. 2 to 4 as of now, therefore, she has no objection in case FIR No. 427/2014 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC

Keeping in mind that petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have started living together after ironing out their differences voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending.
