% 30.07.2018 This petition has been filed under Section 29A(4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter referred to as the 'Act') seeking extension of time for making of the Award by the Arbitral Tribunal adjudicating the disputes that have arisen between the parties in relation to the work of Four laning of Walayar - Vadakkancherry section in Kerala (km 182/250 to km 240/000 of NH-47) - Package NS-2/BOT/KL-2/ on DBFOT (Toll) basis under NHDP Phase II-in the State of Kerala awarded to M/s KNR Constructions Ltd. by the respondent vide letter of award dated 3rd August, 2012.

The parties submit that on the demise of the Presiding Arbitrator, the Arbitral Tribunal has been reconstituted with the appointment of a substitute Presiding Arbitrator. In view of the above, the time for making of the Award is

extended by a further period of six months with effect from today. The petition is disposed of with the above directions, with no order as to costs.
