The parties have filed the present petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereafter 'the Act'), inter alia, praying as under:- "a.

Pass an order extending the time period of the Hon'ble Arbitral Tribunal in the Arbitral Proceedings titled 'Smiths Detection Veecon Systems Private Limited vs. Viceroy Engineering ending on 20.06.2018, by 6 months till 20.12.2018."

The learned counsel for the parties state that the arbitral proceedings are at the stage of final arguments which are scheduled on 01.06.2018. In view of the consensus between the parties, the preset petition is allowed and the time for making the award is extended by a further period of six months

from 20.06.2018, that is, till 20.12.2018.
