versus SANTOSH T.V. ..... Respondent Through: Mr. Rahul Singh Chauhan, Adv.

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE NAJMI WAZIRI

O R D E R

% 25.10.2017 The respondent had filed a complaint on 17.05.1994. Despite the passage of more than 23 years, the trial has not concluded. The learned counsel for the complainant states that ordinarily he would not object to the relief sought in this transfer petition, however, considering the exceptionally long pendency of the trial he would request that the Trial Court be directed to expedite the completion of trial.

The learned counsel for the petitioner too submits that every endeavour shall be made and cooperation rendered to complete the trial as soon as possible.

In the circumstance, that the complaint pertains to police station Malviya Nagar and the appropriate Metropolitan Magistrate to try the case would be the Metropolitan Magistrate concerned in the Saket District Court, the case stands transferred to the latter.

The Trial Court is requested to expedite the trial of the case and

conclude it preferably within a period of four months from today. The petition stands disposed off in the above terms. NAJMI WAZIRI, J OCTOBER 25, 2017/acm
