% 13.08.2018 Notice. Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no. 1. Learned Standing Counsel also accepts notice for respondent no.2. It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably; therefore, FIR No. 487/2015 under Section 135 of the Indian Electricity Act (Amend.), 2003 registered at police station Mehrauli and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed. It is further admitted that the settled amount has already been received by respondent no. 2. Learned counsel for respondent no. 2 says that respondent

no. 2 has no objection in case aforesaid FIR and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed against the petitioner. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
