The instant writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed on behalf of the petitioner for seeking parole for a period of three months. Status report is on record.

I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and have examined the file. Factum of the petitioner's wife suffering from certain ailments has been verified and confirmed. 3.

Nominal Roll dated 05.01.2017 reveals that the petitioner was convicted for various offences and was sentenced to undergo imprisonment for life with total fine of `1,35,000/-. The SLP was dismissed on 22.08.2003. The petitioner was not be entitled for any W.P.(CRL) 1571/2018

remission for a period of twenty years.

It further records that the petitioner has already undergone twenty two years and twenty eight days incarceration besides remission for four months and twenty nine days as on 05.01.2017. Earlier he was granted parole on several occasions and there are no allegations it its misuse. 4.

In the interest of justice and for the reasons mentioned in the application, the petitioner is granted three weeks parole from the date of his release, on his furnishing personal bond in the sum of `40,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Trial Court. After completion of parole period, the petitioner shall surrender before the Jail Superintendent.

Writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms. 6.

Copy of the order be sent to the Jail Superintendant for information.
