% 05.09.2016 By the present petition, the Petitioners seek quashing of FIR No. 1218/2014 under Sections 135/138/150 of the Indian Electricity Act registered at PS Amar Colony, Delhi on the complaint of Respondent No.2. Authorized representative of respondent No.2 is present in Court and is identified by the learned counsel. She states that as a one time settlement parties have arrived at a settlement and the bill amount so raised has been received by the respondent No.2. The respondent No.2 does not wish to pursue the above-noted FIR and the proceedings pursuant to the settlement. CRL.M.C. 1787/2016
Since the parties have settled the matter no useful purpose will be served in continuing the proceedings pursuant to the above-noted FIR and there is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR, I deem it fit to quash the above-noted FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. Consequently, FIR No. 1218/2014 under Sections 135/138/150 of the Indian Electricity Act registered at PS Amar Colony, Delhi and proceedings pursuant thereto are hereby quashed.
Authorized representative of the respondent No.2 who is identified by the learned counsel has signed the order sheet in acknowledgement of her statement made before this Court.
