W.P.(C) 4123/2016 & CM No.17372/2016 By way of present petition, the petitioner inter alia seeks quashing of order dated 29.4.2016 passed by respondent No.2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to advertisement issued by respondent No.2, the petitioner applied for the post of Deputy Director (Administration) (Group-A post) in the year 2009 and the petitioner was appointed on contractual basis for a period of one year w.e.f. 20.07.2009. The same was extended from time to time till 31.03.2016.
Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner filed a petition bearing W.P.(C) No.7942/2014 for
regularization and the same was disposed of in LPA No.447/15 vide order dated 05.08.2015.
Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the term of the petitioner has not been extended after its expiry on 30.03.2016 vide letter dated 29.04.2016.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner made a representation dated 03.05.2016 to the respondents and the same is pending.
Mr.Devesh Singh, learned counsel for respondent Nos.1 to 3, on advance notice, submits that the representation dated 03.05.2016 of the petitioner will be decided within a period of two weeks. Mr.Sourabh Ahuja, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is satisfied with the aforesaid and submits that the petition and application may be disposed of.
In view of the submissions made by counsel for the parties, it is deemed appropriate to dispose of the present petition as well as application with the direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 03.05.2016 within a period of two weeks from today and the decision thereof be communicated to the petitioner within one week thereafter.
The petition as well as application stand disposed of. DASTI.
