The present common petition has been filed by 68 petitioners stating inter alia that they have retired on different dates commencing from the year 2008 onwards right up to the year 2016.

The prayer made by the petitioners is for financial upgradation as applicable to the post of Sub-Inspector on the date they had become eligible for the benefits under the ACP/MACP Scheme.

Learned counsel for the petitioners states at the outset that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition while reserving the right of the petitioners to file independent petitions, by bifurcating the dates of their retirement to avoid any confusion in this regard. 4.

Leave as prayed for is granted. The petition is disposed of as not pressed.
