% 23.01.2017 Present contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 18th November 2015 passed in W.P.(C) No.4640/2014 whereby the respondent-DDA was directed to communicate the calculation of the outstanding amount of ground rent till 30th November, 2015 to the petitioner-company on or before 24th November, 2015 and hand over the same to the counsel for petitioner-company against a receipt.

Learned counsel for petitioner-company states that despite the aforesaid order, respondent-DDA has not handed over the calculation to the petitioner-company till date.

Issue notice.

Mr.Dhanesh Relan, Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-DDA.

Learned counsel for the respondent-DDA has handed over a photocopy of the calculation of the outstanding amount of the ground rent till 30th November, 2015. The same is taken on record. In view of the delay in furnishing the calculation of the outstanding amount, it is clarified that the respondent-DDA shall not claim any interest for the period 30th November, 2015 till date.
