O R D E R

% 02.05.2016 Learned counsel for the petitioner, after some arguments states that he is not pressing this petition on merits. He, however, prays for expedition in Trial as he is apprehensive that the trial may get delayed and the petitioner is in her early 80s. Noting the submissions in the petitioner as also the submissions made before this Court that the trial is in progress and evidence by way of affidavit of witnesses of the plaintiff have since been filed and the next date fixed before the Trial Judge is 16.5.2016.

Noting the undertaking of the respondent that he shall crossexamine both the witnesses of the petitioner (PW-1 and PW-2 who are directed to be present in Court on 16.5.2016) as also the submission of the learned counsel for the respondent (defendant in the Trial Court) that that there will be two witnesses who shall be

examined on his behalf, the Trial Court shall endeavour to dispose of the petition expeditiously within an outer limit of 10 months from the date of receipt of this order.

Petition disposed of.
