Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner who is present before this Court, submitted that the instant petition may be disposed of as the parties have already settled the matter and the petitioner has received a cheque of Rs. 55,000/- from the respondents. However, the said cheque has not been presented before this Court.

It is further informed that the cheque, which has been received by the petitioner, has not been en-cashed yet. It is prayed that the matter may be disposed of as the parties have settled the matter and nothing survives for further adjudication in the matter.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents has no objection to the above submissions advanced on behalf of the petitioner.
