Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no. 1.

Respondent no.2 Dr. Mukul Adlakha is present in Court and accepts notice. He has been identified by SI Karan Singh of police station Mandir Marg. It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no. 2 were classmate. They have now settled the matter amicably; therefore, FIR no. 76/2014 under Sections 379/411 IPC registered at Police Station Mandir Marg and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed.

Respondent no. 2 submits that he has settled the matter with petitioner of his

own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion before Delhi Mediation Centre, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi on 26th April, 2018. Respondent no. 2 says that he has no objection in case FIR is quashed against the petitioner. Affidavit of respondent no. 2 to this effect is also on record at pages 15-16.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR no. 76/2014 under Sections 379/411 IPC registered at Police Station Mandir Marg and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
