O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 101/2018 This petition under Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed by the petitioner seeking extension of time for making of the Arbitral Award by the Sole Arbitrator adjudicating the disputes that have arisen between the parties in relation to the Agreement dated 28.09.2013.
Learned counsel for the respondents, who appears on advance notice, submits that the respondents have no objection if the prayer is granted. Having perused the contents of the petition as also the no objection expressed by the learned counsel for the respondents, the time for making of the Arbitral Award is extended by a period of four months with effect from 21.05.2018.
The petition is allowed in the above terms with no order as to cost. Dasti.
