+ CRL.M.C. 2745/2018 SUNNY & ORS ..... Petitioners Through Mr. Sanjay Soti, Adv versus THE STATE NCT OF DELHI & ANR ..... Respondents Through Ms. Kusum Dhalla, APP SI Rahul Sagar, PS Seema Puri
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK

% 30.05.2018 Notice. Learned APP accepts notice on behalf of respondent no.1.
Respondent no.2 is also present in the Court and accepts notice. Respondent no.2 submits that she has joined the company of petitioner no.1 after settling her disputes with him before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Karkardooma Courts on 31st July, 2017. She submits that she has been living with her husband since 9th July, 2017 and she has no complaints against the petitioner no.1 and his family members as of now , therefore, she is not willing to pursue the FIR No. 953/2016 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC read with section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, registered at police station Seema Puri. Keeping in mind that both husband and wife have started living together after ironing out their difference, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping them entangled in the criminal
proceedings. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed qua the petitioners.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti. A.K. PATHAK, J MAY 30, 2018/sm
