O R D E R

% 24.05.2018 By this petition, the petitioner seeks parole on the ground that he has to maintain social ties and also challenges the communication dated 16th April, 2018 whereby application seeking parole on the ground noted above was rejected by the competent authority.

The reason for rejection of the application seeking parole by competent authority was that the petitioner did not maintain a uniformly good conduct and in the last one year his conduct in the jail was reported to be unsatisfactory as he was awarded punishment on 19th January, 2018 for being found in possession of loose tobacco and a sum of ₹500. Considering the conduct of the petitioner, this Court finds no error in the impugned order dated 16th April, 2018 rejecting the parole application of W.P.(CRL) 1644/2018

the petitioner.

Petition is dismissed.

Copy of this order be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent, Tihar Jail.
