1. The status report dated 10th August 2018 of Inspector Sanjay Kumar, Station House Officer ('SHO') of PS Mundka has been perused. Rekha, the wife of the Petitioner, is present in the Court along with her son Kashish. She states that she left home on account of the violence to which she and her son were subjected by the Petitioner. She states that she is presently residing at the Nari Niketan of her own free will.

2. It is stated in the status report that in FIR No.225/18 under Sections 365/363 IPC which was registered at the instance of the Petitioner, a cancellation report will be filed in the concerned court.

3. Learned counsel for the Petitioner states that he will seek other remedies that are available to him in accordance with law.

4. The Secretary, Delhi State Legal Services Authority ('DSLSA') is directed to depute a lady lawyer to meet Rekha at the Nari Niketan to advise her about her legal options. A copy of this order will be delivered forthwith to the Secretary, DSLSA through Special Messenger for compliance.
