OMP(Misc.)(Comm.) 105/2018 This petition has been filed under Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter referred to as the 'Act') seeking extension of time for making of the Arbitral Award by the Sole Arbitrator in Arbitration Case No.2/2016 pending adjudication before this Court.

Counsel for the respondent who appears on advance notice submits that he has no objection if the time for making of the Award is extended.

Having perused the contents of the petition and in light of no objection expressed by the counsel for the respondent, time for making of the Award is extended by a further period of one year with effect from 14th April, 2018.

The petition is allowed in the above terms with no order as to costs.
