The writ petition complaints that the implementation of the order dated 20th April, 2017 passed by the National Green Tribunal in Original Application No.21/2014 and connected matters (Annexure A-1 on page 16 of paper book) is working a huge loss to the public exchequer and there are hardly any passengers on these destination buses. It is submitted that operating such buses has not in any way affected the basic objective of reducing pollution in the city for which reason the order has been passed by the National Green Tribunal.

In our view, the writ petitioner deserves to seek appropriate modification in the matters for which the orders was passed by the National Green Tribunal.

In view thereof, the petitioner seeks withdrawal of this writ petition with liberty to avail appropriate remedy as per law.

Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed with liberty as prayed for.
